"I recently had a very disappointing experience with the Volvo dealer in Oss regarding my Volvo S80. I had bought a used KVM module from a scrapyard, assuming it would be easy to relearn. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be possible with Volvo. Contact with the dealer was poor. When I explained my situation, I was later called back by a technician who thought I had a question about a sunroof, even though I had clearly explained it was about the KVM module. I was then told that Volvo only works with new modules, which is fine, and if this solves the problem, I'm willing to pay for it. However, the way this was communicated was downright unprofessional. The technician literally said: "We're not going to make your problem our problem." "We have enough problems already, we don't need this on top of that." I got the distinct feeling that they were only interested in existing customers and completely unwilling to think along or provide service to anyone who wasn't (yet) a customer. On top of that, I contacted Volvo Netherlands three times. Each time, I was promised a call back, which still hasn't happened. In short: I'm extremely disappointed with both the dealer and Volvo Netherlands. From a brand that profiles itself as premium, you expect professional communication and a customer-focused approach, at the very least. Unfortunately, none of that happened. Fortunately, I've since received good and completely satisfactory service from another Volvo dealer. So it's clearly possible, as long as you're dealing with the right people."
