Utter disappointment: amateurism at its finest! After reading a bunch of good reviews, I ended up at Fabian's and thought I'd found a real enthusiast. My 2014 Volvo had an ABS error message, and apparently, other messages were linked to it, such as City Safety, DSTC, CWS, and Adaptive Cruise. He wanted to replace the ABS sensor for a good price and would also address/replace some other issues, such as a backup battery, etc. So far, so good! Excellent initial contact. When I picked up the car, he'd forgotten the battery (?!?), and only the ABS message had disappeared, but all the other messages immediately reappeared. You wonder if they hadn't done a test drive? Then they should just return the car, and I'm leaving it with Fabian for a few days. When I went to pick up the car, I was told he couldn't find the backup battery in the car (?!), but what's more, the complained messages immediately reappeared. Car back! Finally, almost two months pass. My suspicions begin to grow (reinforced by the internet) that an incorrect (perhaps non-original) sensor had been installed. I repeatedly pointed this out to Fabian, and he claims it's indeed possible he'd been supplied with the wrong sensor, but he never made a new appointment. I asked him if I could have the replaced ABS sensor in my possession. Again, no response, so I told him I'd order a sensor from my dealer to compare this new, original, and guaranteed-to-be-good sensor with the one installed. Still no response! I ordered the sensor, crawled under the car myself, and compared it: No difference! I asked the Volvo dealer to look at the error messages, and after just half an hour, I received a call saying they couldn't find anything. Completely surprised, I asked them for a longer test drive, but again, no error message. How could that be?! When I picked up the car, the dealer stated they had first reset everything—as usual—to see if the error messages reappeared. They hadn't! So the sensor has apparently been replaced correctly and is working properly, but that doesn't help me. I'm aware that many safety systems don't work when the ABS sensor-related messages mentioned above are active. No more safe feeling, Volvo! Conclusion: Fabian didn't reset the error codes after his work. Every mechanic knows this is necessary, but apparently Fabian doesn't. I confronted him with the conclusion, sent the €175 invoice with the findings to Fabian, and stated that I think partial compensation for these costs is justified, as they could have been avoided if Fabian had simply done his job. But as is often the case, he simply didn't respond. Even after a reminder—so far—no response at all. I sincerely advise everyone who has a car that needs a diagnostic scan to stay away from Villa Volvo unless you need a tire inflated or an oil change. Just make sure he's put the cap back on. What a disappointment!

What can I say...except that Fabian helped me (us) incredibly well. I have complete confidence in his expertise. Both of our Volvos will continue to be serviced by him. Price/quality ratio is truly ☆☆☆☆☆

We recently had car troubles driving back to Germany and made an emergency stop at Villa Volvo for help. Fabian saved the day! He was able to order a part for next day delivery and had it fixed in no time. As we were unexpectedly stranded, he also helped us find a hotel, suggested places to eat, and even showed our son how to change spark plugs. Thank you for being so generous with your time and expertise. We are incredibly grateful and are tempted to drive back to Maastricht just to have you work on our Volvo!
