"I went twice, once with my parents in law, and once with my husband and the service was terrible. We felt like we were disturbing them, they were grumpy and completely unhelpful. We had two different employees and they were both the same. This is not the kind of service we expect from a garage that is so renowned. And we were ready to buy a car from them but after having a second experience which was also negative, we decided to go with another garage and we will never consider Van Mossel again."

"I purchased a used Audi A4 from Van Mossel Mega Occasion Centrum Hengelo in May 2025. Yes, it had slightly higher mileage, but I was reassured by two things Van Mossel proudly advertises everywhere: • BOVAG warranty, • A glorious “130-point inspection” plus quality checks before delivery. And let’s not forget their other feel-good promise: • you can go to any Van Mossel location for service or support Spoiler: whatever “inspection” they claim to perform must have been done with binoculars from across the parking lot. I pointed out several issues before purchase, and Van Mossel promised to fix them. Aside from the back-seat recline (which took them over a month), nothing else was addressed. Scratches? “Easy fix!” they said. Results? Easier to ignore apparently. Interior part came loose, the rear washer doesn’t work, the brakes occasionally squeak like a haunted bicycle, and no inspection report was ever provided — even though they claim one exists. The delivery process at Hengelo was a comedy of errors: I drove 288 km twice and even took a 4-hour train ride to pick up the car, only to find the promised repairs untouched. The salesperson, apparently had “personal problems,” which became my problem because the dealership apparently has no backup plan for being a business. Eventually the car was delivered to me by a delivery service, because by that point I had simply given up. Fast-forward to the October– Ongoing 2025 ordeal: The undercarriage shield comes loose on the highway during normal driving — a failure that contradicts their own advertised “full inspection.” I went to Van Mossel Audi Tilburg the closer option at only 116 km away (a bargain compared to the 288 km pilgrimage to Hengelo), who, in a magnificent act of service gymnastics, denied BOVAG coverage outright. The reasoning? “Maybe you hit something… we can’t be sure… so best to deny it.” Their solution: “Go to Hengelo.” Apparently warranty only exists at the place where you first shook hands! So I connected both locations on the phone (the same salesperson who sold me the car — it only took five attempts to reach him) — right there in Tilburg — hoping logic might magically appear. They spoke. They aligned.; they agreed — not covered. Shocking. Meanwhile, BOVAG might as well be a ghost — unreachable. My wife summarized it perfectly: “The enthusiasm they have when selling the car evaporates the moment your money clears.” After-sales support? Hengelo failed. Tilburg failed. If only their warranty were as solid as their excuses."
