"At first glance, Vakgarage Van den Bergh seemed like a clean and reliable garage. Not pushy and friendly. I had seen a Ford Fiesta and had made an appointment. Upon arrival, the car looked neat. I had an appointment with the owner, Michiel, who gave us plenty of time to look at everything and wasn't pushy at all. However, during the test drive, I quickly noticed something was wrong with the gear lever. There was a rattling noise when accelerating. After driving with Michiel, he indicated it was probably a minor issue and that he would have it checked out. Michiel assured me he would call me at the end of the week, or the following week, as soon as the problem was resolved. That gave me confidence and hope. Unfortunately, that call never came. I didn't call Michiel myself because he had promised to call me, so it was his turn. Days passed, then even weeks. In the end, I never received a call back. To my surprise, the car was later sold without me hearing anything. I still don't know if the problem was ever resolved. All in all, a huge disappointment. A waste of my patience and the drive to the other side of the country."

"The MOT inspection and repairs initially cost €1400. After discussing it, it was reduced to €1100. I thought that was excessive, and the car failed its MOT. But the MOT form only listed one point of rejection. After calling, I was told that all the other points were suddenly no longer rejected. I went to another garage, the MOT inspection and repairs cost €343. Strange practices. They won't be seeing me there again."
