Reserved a van and refused pickup. Upon arrival, I was approached rudely. They told me my last name was in the system and that I was therefore not insured because a van with the same last name hadn't been returned previously. What does this have to do with me based solely on my last name? No further verification was done to determine if it was actually me. The explanation that I was "not insured" also makes no sense: insurance is linked to the renter and the contract, not to a single last name. This situation completely disrupted my schedule, even though I had specifically set aside time for this. I understand that an owner has the right to refuse a rental. However, in 2026, I question how this was substantiated and handled.

Great garage with excellent service. While on vacation, we received a malfunction report with our car. The mechanic scanned the car and, thankfully, determined it wasn't anything serious and got us back on the road.

I can't say enough good things about Kroon Auto Garage. Extremely satisfied and great service. I received a report of engine failure this morning. I contacted Kroon and was able to drive in right away to have the engine fault code checked. Two of the four glow plugs were bad. They replaced all four spark plugs and immediately fixed the problem with my 13-pin socket. It turned out to be a short circuit in the wiring harness. Very satisfied and great that I could come in on short notice. Regarding the price increase, they're definitely recommended. Thanks, guys.
