The experienced owner of Trekhaakcentrum Nieuwegein installed the perfect tow bar on my car last year. After a few trips with a trailer, it turned out that my type of car (with a tight space for everything to be fitted) was ultimately and unfortunately causing an annoying rattle and vibration. He thoroughly addressed this unexpected problem this morning and resolved it. It was covered by the warranty. Naturally, I was very pleased with his quick and efficient response.

For my BMW 5 Touring (G31) I was looking for a detachable tow bar. Trekhaakcentrum was a few hundred euros cheaper compared to the dealer. Reason for a call. On the phone the employee came across as polite and sincere. I was told that the tow bar would not be visible and that only an A-brand is used. Once at the Nieuwegein branch everything was neatly explained and at the end of the day I came back with the excellent loan car. Everything neatly finished, no malfunctions and indeed nothing visible from the back (except for the eye for the safety cable, but that is easy to turn away using 1 bolt when not in use). Even the tow bar for this type of car has a lever instead of a difficult rotary knob. All in all very neatly done, a real professional! When I got home I discovered that a plastic clip of the automatic guide of the parcel shelf was missing. No idea how this happened. 1 phone call and the employee said that Saturday he would contact his colleague on Monday because the branch was closed on Saturday. And yes, Monday morning at 8am I was called and I was able to make an appointment at very short notice. And within fifteen minutes the part was found. It was hidden under the covering near the wiring that had been installed. It can happen to anyone, but how quickly and neatly they solved this was the reason for me to write this review!

Great, small-scale shop. Clear explanation regarding parking sensors and LED lighting. Free loaner car (only 19 cents per km)

Awesome! This is the only place for your tow bar. It's also the only place outside of the dealership where you can have your Porsche tow bar installed and programmed!
