This is a terrible company; they always come up with excuses to avoid paying. Now I'm losing a lot of money because of this not-so-nice man.

Never buy a car here!!! I bought a car here in December 2024, costing over €10,000. In just 9 months, I've already spent over €8,000 on repairs. Luckily, we had extended the six-month Autotrust warranty by another six months, otherwise we would have had to pay for everything ourselves. Now I've paid €2,000 myself, because not everything is covered by the warranty. I contacted Sjaak, but now that it's going to cost money, we haven't heard from him again. This company isn't affiliated with BOVAG, so unfortunately, legal expenses insurance can't cover it. So always double-check whether a company is affiliated. We'll definitely not buy from them again and we'd advise everyone against it.

Shortly after delivery, serious defects arose. Despite repeated attempts at consultation, the seller failed to provide a concrete proposal or solution. Within a few months, the repair costs had risen to €3,000. The possibility of using the (conformity) warranty was not discussed by SVDB, and no solution was proposed. Sjaak was unavailable due to personal circumstances, so we immediately had the repairs carried out at a certified garage. His subsequent comment that the repairs "could have been cheaper" is easy to say, now that the problems were identified and resolved by someone else (in my opinion, cheaper isn't necessarily better, although that seems to be his approach). Given our family situation, it made sense for us to have the repairs carried out elsewhere. Unfortunately, the end is not yet in sight: there are defects that weren't mentioned during the sale, which came to light later, and which still need to be resolved. Sjaak claims that we were ripped off by our current garage, while he offered no assistance or concrete solution. Despite repeated requests for a reasonable resolution, the seller remains passive. We will therefore seek legal advice and initiate steps to have the dispute reviewed and resolved through the appropriate procedures. I'm curious whether Sjaak, now that this is public, feels the need to offer a concrete financial proposal, for example, reasonable compensation for some of the costs incurred – something that has unfortunately not been forthcoming so far. Others with similar experiences are welcome to contact us to share information.

Excellent service! A while ago, I bought a car from Sjaak, which had no problems whatsoever. He was given a free loaner for a long time. He did everything in his power to solve the problem. Unfortunately, the car turned out to be unreliable, and we were able to exchange it for the same purchase price. He's an honest and knowledgeable man.
