"I contacted them on WhatsApp via Marktplaats for information about an advertised car. The message was read, but no response. I then sent another message, stating that "not interested" was also an answer and that it would be polite to respond. Even then, no response was received. I find that rude. But apparently, this is normal in today's world."

"Last week I bought a used car here. I'm very satisfied with the help I received. I had previously contacted the seller because I was looking for a car with a higher entry and good seats due to my back problems. The seller assured me he would have something ready for me to try out before our appointment. When we arrived on the agreed-upon day and time, it was incredibly busy. Despite this, the seller kept his promise. There were no fewer than three cars ready for a test drive. After driving all three, I had a clear understanding of what I needed, and I negotiated with the seller to trade in my car for a Kuga. Although I understood that margins were under pressure due to an overheated car market, we quickly reached an agreement. We then scheduled a delivery appointment. On the day of delivery, after completing the paperwork, the seller took the time to thoroughly explain everything about the car. He had also had the car meticulously cleaned and touched up, both inside and out. The car looks fantastic and I'm thrilled with it. I don't recognize this salesperson at all in the stories of some customers. I've rarely received such excellent, understanding, and patient service at a garage. A big thumbs-up for the salesperson and Sutherland as a company!"

"UNPROFESSIONAL CAR DEALERS! We made an appointment for a test drive in a Ford Kuga Vignale on Thursday afternoon. So, a day later, we drove all the way to Sneek, and the salesperson came to us. Sorry, I have to disappoint you, because the car is in Heerenveen. There's a very "important" customer who needed it as a loaner, so it's unavailable for the next month. My boss picked it up this morning, so we asked him why he needed that one and not one of the four Kugas ST-Lines there, but he couldn't answer. So, we made a pointless appointment and drove to Sneek. "But we have another one for you," he said. We didn't feel understood as a customer because there was someone much more "important" than us. I will NEVER buy a car here again. What an unprofessional business. And now they've even removed my review from their website..."

"Great company with a knowledgeable salesperson. Honest, straightforward, and no nonsense. That's what I like. We had a great test drive. We quickly reached a good deal with a good trade-in price for our previous car. We also received excellent aftercare from the salesperson who also sold the car to us when there were a few minor issues with the vehicle that we hadn't noticed during the test drive. Everything was repaired under warranty. Big thumbs up for this company and its salespeople and mechanics!"

"What terrible treatment we received at Sutherland Sneek. We'd called to schedule a test drive, but when we arrived, the car wasn't ready. Inside the showroom, they ignored us. ("I'll be with you shortly" isn't that hard, is it?) So, we decided to take a look at the car ourselves. Dirty and covered in cobwebs, it wasn't exactly eye-catching. Back in the showroom, a salesperson was willing to speak with us. After explaining that we had a test drive appointment, he first wanted to know if we had anything to trade in. I pointed out our car to him, and he immediately started criticizing it, saying, "I'll tell you right away, but I won't give you more than €1200 for it," or something like that. The test drive was still to take place, but the criticism had already begun. After the test drive, the salesperson asked us what to do next. I replied that it would be nice if he'd put a calculation on paper so we could think about it. No, he wanted to wait for the bids first. What bids? "The bids," he clarified again. I didn't understand. So he wanted to put our car online and wait for someone to bid. Haha, you can't be serious! I told him I didn't quite understand, and he raised his voice again, insisting he wanted to wait for the bids first. When I asked him to stop getting so worked up, he looked like he was seeing water burning. He kept harping on about the bids, and when I told my wife we'd better leave, the last thing we heard was, "Yeah, go away." This salesman is a terrible addition to the Sutherland group. I've bought several cars from Sutherland Heerenveen without any problems, but this man is driving people away. I hope that as long as this man works there and people read this, they'll choose not to go to the Sneek branch anymore."
