"On the recommendation of a few neighbors, I ended up at Otto's Autoservice because of a slipping clutch. My car is already 20 years old, so these kinds of things are bound to happen. Otto drove around, came to the same conclusion—quickly—and also told me how many hours it would take and what would be needed. I'm a hobbyist when it comes to car maintenance, so I knew for sure: this isn't a (fun) job you just take on. In the end, the clutch kit was replaced, and the lady is driving like a dream. They also noticed a few minor issues, like a noise from the brakes, which I know will need some TLC soon. If that doesn't work out for you, I know a good place for capable hands who know how to fix a car properly. Thanks, guys! One thing to keep in mind: Make sure the e-service bike is charged. ;)"

"I bought a car from Otto, and from the very first contact, he actively collaborated with me. I told him what kind of car I was looking for, within what budget, and under what conditions, and he really went above and beyond to find something that suited me. No sales pitches, just honest advice and genuine commitment. I also had my previous car serviced by Otto, and it was always efficient and reliable. That's precisely why I know how carefully he works. He's proactive, transparent, and doesn't try to sell you nonsense or try to trick you into buying anything. The car drives like a dream, and I'm thrilled with it. Excellent service, pleasant communication, and clearly someone who does his work with care and expertise. Absolutely recommended."

"A few weeks ago, I took my car to Otto's Auto Service. My tires were deflating quickly, so they replaced the valve caps and removed oxidation from the rims. To my surprise, the next day I noticed several areas of damage on the rims that I had never noticed before. I contacted Otto about this. He told me he hadn't caused the damage. I then showed the damage to two people (another garage owner and someone who had worked for a car dealership). One of them assured me that three deep scratches on the rim edge are typical damage from a tire repair shop; it definitely doesn't look like curb rash. Incidentally, those deep scratches look fresh. There are also numerous shallow scratches on one rim, which also doesn't indicate curb rash. The following week, I contacted Otto again. I then went to his place to show him the damage and share the information I had gathered. He showed me his tire machine and told me the damage couldn't have been caused by it. Of course, I don't know what could possibly go wrong with such a machine, as I don't know anything about it myself. Anyway, Otto was polite and said he would contact an insurance claims adjuster. He said he would get back to me later that week. On Friday of that week, I contacted him to ask about the claims adjuster's progress. To my surprise, he told me he hadn't contacted the claims adjuster because he claimed to be certain he didn't cause the damage. But if he's so certain he didn't cause the damage himself, why wouldn't he want to hire a claims adjuster to prove his point? The last time my tires/rims were mounted or removed was in early January of this year, when my brake rotors and brake pads needed replacing. That was over six months ago. If I caused this damage myself, I should have noticed it. Incidentally, I had to inflate my tires every week for many weeks before the work, and the only damage I noticed in the meantime was the curb rash I caused myself. And those aren't obscure scratches. Unfortunately, I have no proof of what my rims looked like before I took my car to Otto's Autoservice. Therefore, it's impossible to make a case about this (although I'm almost 100% certain it must have happened at Otto's Autoservice). So a lesson learned for me, and for you reading this review: ALWAYS take photos of your car before taking it to a garage (any garage), because prevention is always better than cure! For clarification, I've included photos of the damage. The damage circled in red is my own (curb rash). The other damage, which (as I said) I'm almost 100% certain must have been caused at Otto's Autoservice, I've circled in blue. This damage looks significantly different from curb rash, and the damage in the four photos looks quite similar. I also want to mention that a few months ago, I took my car to Otto's Autoservice to have my right front light repaired (it was leaking). This didn't go smoothly either, as he couldn't get the light fully working while coding the software for the modules. So I had to go to the Mercedes dealership, where they were able to get it working. He did cover the costs I had to pay at the dealership, which I thought was very kind of him. He handled it well, but it did cause me a lot of hassle and travel back and forth. All in all, the quality of his work is questionable..."
