"Went to this unique Opel dealership. To discuss buying a new car, you're forced to sit in a corner with a seat and a high barrier behind your back. Very strange and uncomfortable. The salesman was a unkempt, sociable man who made buying a car a non-starter. It didn't feel good at all, and of course, I didn't buy a car there."

"Never go there again. I went to fix a problem with my car, and after diagnosing it, it turned out to be the timing belt. Motorhuis wanted to charge me €1800 for this, but the amount could still go up. Another garage owner told me there's a goodwill arrangement for this problem, which Opel is aware of, and you might be eligible for reimbursement for the repair. A former Motorhuis employee confirmed this. Motorhuis didn't inform me of this, but they're trying to rip me off. It's outrageous. I don't call this service, I call it fraud!"

"I've been driving an Opel for 40 years; after all, there's no better car with more history. While the average, not-so-smart Dutch person buys a French car these days, I naturally remain loyal to the "German equivalent." After all, "French" has stood for inferior and weak modernism for decades; the classy design from the 1960s disappeared, and nothing but misery came in its place. The "Motorhuis" was once a leading company in the entire region, back when the Dutch still bought smart, good cars. However, by the 1980s, the maintenance of the motor house was already almost prohibitively expensive. Replacing an original headlight bulb cost 25 guilders, a side mirror 250.00. There were some savings programs for loyal customers, trade-in discounts via a points system for performing maintenance, and so on. These days, the company is a small, mid-range competitor, hardly sells any Opels anymore, but a whole bunch of other brands. It's more expensive than ever, and it even comes up with truly worthless so-called promotions... that only benefit the company itself. I'm incredibly annoyed by these kinds of emails. Be sure to read the fine print under the extras, because for 35 euros, you're getting practically nothing, a mere sham... Oh yes, I've never encountered a company that takes Google Reviews as little seriously as Motorhuis, and I've never seen such a low rating (a 1...) without the company itself offering any response. And as you can see from my profile, I've been around for a while. It's as if Google Reviews doesn't even exist for Motorhuis... I know why, though; any response to nuanced reviews that don't appeal to the company would immediately sound unbelievable, and what's the best thing to do then?... Exactly, just don't respond. As far as I'm concerned, the future will be the same as with all the previous Opels I bought there: for 2 or 3 years, during the warranty period, I'll just keep coming in for maintenance, and after that it's "get out of there as quickly as possible," so I can move back to my own trusty, affordable, and safe "maintenance guy" as soon as possible. ;) Better for my wallet, and just as reliable."

"I came here for a problem, and I had to come back 2 TIMES for other problems 2 days after having my car back. I will never know if they created these issues but nevertheless, a car should be fully checked before giving it back. I was disrespected by all the person in that place, really don’t go there ."
