"Great company! They provide honest advice, friendly staff, and you're helped quickly. Edited: Still a top-notch garage to this day. They're honest with customers and provide appropriate advice. The staff is also always friendly."

"I drove by on a Friday afternoon because my car kept losing coolant. An hour later, my car was ready. What would have taken a whole day at another garage, they were able to fix right away and for a great price. Thank you so much, that's what I call top-notch service!"

"I went to this garage for a new ignition lock. Initially, I had a good feeling about the garage; I received a friendly welcome and was treated with kindness. I was told I needed to contact the previous owner (Romp) to ask if they had the part. I asked if it had a model number I needed to look up, but was assured that if I provided my license plate number, everything would be fine. Regarding the cost, I was told it would cost a few tens of euros for the replacement plus a few tens for the lock itself. So, a maximum of €100. When I arrived at the agreed-upon time to pick up my lock, it turned out it hadn't yet been removed from the car it was still in. I thought it was a bit odd that they hadn't called to cancel, meaning I had to adjust my schedule for nothing to make the trip back and forth, but I let it go. It didn't seem to matter; I was simply allowed to schedule an appointment for the lock installation. During the follow-up appointment (where the new ignition lock was installed), it turned out the lock wasn't compatible with my car. I was advised to call someone to come pick me up, but this wasn't really an option for me. I decided to wait. I saw that they were doing their best to get it done. That afternoon, they had arranged an ignition lock at the scrapyard. At the end of the day, it turned out that the chip from my old key was still needed to start the engine. After discussing the matter, we decided to strap the old key under my dashboard. I was told this would work perfectly because the dashboard could read the chip from my old key. I appreciated how this person tried to make the best of the situation. When I received the bill, I was a little surprised; it was €194. It was clear to me that extra hours had been worked, but I found it odd that they were charging me for it. It feels to me like a mistake from the garage, being blamed on me without any communication about it, even though it was a pretty big difference compared to the estimated price (a few tens of euros for the ignition lock and a few tens for the replacement). I paid the person who had been so helpful, and since he also knew nothing about the estimate, I left it at that point. I tried to contact them about this two weeks ago via the contact form, but unfortunately, I haven't received anything yet. The solution itself is simply not viable because the chip from my old key isn't always recognized, which sometimes prevents my engine from starting. Because of this, I recently had to call the ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club). I'm now quite annoyed about this situation and have decided to leave a review. tldr; Pros: * Friendly and helpful people Cons: * Communication about the part * Communication about the price * The solution doesn't always work * No response when contacting us * Communication about the appointment (not so much Vivendi as Romp, but they work together from the same location as partners, so even though they are different companies, it's part of my overall experience) ------- EDIT / ADDITION: The car has since been scrapped. That's also part of the problem; it was a pretty old car, and I just didn't think it was worth the money anymore."
