I took my almost 5-year-old ID.3 to KwikFit for a dealer service. I'd driven by beforehand to ask if the warranty was still valid and if the service notification could be reset. When I received a call to say the car was ready, it turned out it couldn't be reset. I was sent to the dealership anyway. They were willing to reset the notification, but then I'd have to have the service done there as well. Ultimately, I wasted over €300 on KwikFit due to incorrect information. When I picked it up, I also received an incomplete key with the message that I had given it to them as is. KwikFit's customer service department wasn't helpful either. It's a real shame it's like this! I think they're a great company with excellent prices, but not for a newer car. It's also a shame they don't take responsibility for mistakes!

I had an encounter where the scent of overheated gearbox oil, a issue in permanent 4-wheel drive cars driving with a 'thuiskomer' spare tire, was used to mislead me into believing my tires were severely damaged and needed complete replacement. I decided to leave that place. Later, at a dealership, the only repair needed was to the tire valve, costing just 15 euros. Upon inspection, they confirmed that the tires were undamaged, both internally and externally.
