A month ago, we bought a car here. After a week, the water pump turned out to be leaking. We thought that was rather quick. JR Auto's resolved this very efficiently! He repaired the car free of charge! We live in Drachten, so he had to drive quite a distance, but he promptly delivered the car the next day, including a bouquet of flowers for the inconvenience! This company is definitely recommended for a reliable car.

We had a very bad experience with this car dealership. The salesperson didn't keep his promises and made false promises. When we asked for the agreements in writing, he was difficult about it. Eventually, after much nagging, we managed to get him to sign them. During the car registration process, he casually tried to get us to check a box that would waive our legal warranty. He even demanded that we sign a statement that we weren't entitled to the warranty. (You have to get your signature first, and then demand that you waive the warranty.) This was the last straw for us. He expected us to trust his strange talk—not even convincing, but truly strange stories. He also made my girlfriend write down all the agreements, presumably so he could later claim they weren't his handwriting, even though it was signed. (His reason: I don't have his neat handwriting.) This man's behavior was not only strange, but downright antisocial and coercive. The reviews of this company suggest otherwise, but our experience was extremely bad. You might as well buy a car from a private individual this way, because if you sign away your warranty, you're left with nothing as a consumer. And don't forget: you're always entitled to a warranty as a consumer, unless you waive it! As we left angrily, we realized he still had the forms with his name and signature in his folder. We went back and got the paperwork back, only to have them torn up in our presence and declared invalid. Luckily, we didn't pay anything for the car because we were still working on the paperwork, but please don't do business with this company before you know your money is gone and you'll end up with a car with potential future problems that won't allow you to return it.

I bought a Citroën Berlingo from this company. I had some minor issues with the car, and they resolved them promptly. A friendly guy, good service, and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I definitely recommend them!
