"Had a very good experience with James Autoservice Hoofddorp. Clear communication, professional inspection, and no work was done without approval. They handled major maintenance (including timing belt and DSG service) correctly and at a fair price. They were also flexible with customer-supplied parts and explained everything clearly. Overall felt honest and well-organised. Would recommend."

"I was there 2 years ago for APK. The guys over there wanted, I still remeber - 842 euro. A list of 4 or 5 points to repair to pass this APK check. I wrote this because I pass for second year without any problems and I reminded myself about James service. So, most probably english speaking people be aware when you go there!"

"We purchased a car from them at the end of august, it is now almost january and within the span of 4 months the car has broken down 4 times and it has spent just as much time in their garage as it has infront of my house. Every single time the car is there they told me it would take a certain amount of time for it to finish, then when you call them on the day to ask what time you can come to pick it up they delay it. my car was supposed to be done on monday the 22 of december after being gone for 2.5 weeks. I called them that day and they said they would be done on the 23 of december, I called them on the 23 and they said it would be done on the 29 and now after just calling with them they have delayed it again to the 30th if not the 31st. If you want a realiable garage or car don't buy or bring your car here. My car was bought with 109000 km and it has been at their garage 4 times in the span of 4 months and everytime it has been gone for weeks on end because they keep delaying it."

"I had my car towed here because it wouldn’t start—likely a fuel pump issue. They said they would fix it, but after a few days, they told me they tried for two hours and couldn’t find the problem. Weeks went by, and each time I called, they claimed my car was “low priority” and even told me I should buy a new car instead of fixing it. JAMES your supposed to fix cars, not acting like financial advisors—don’t tell your customers what to do with their money. After 5 weeks, they finally told me they couldn’t fix it and that I should have the tow company take it elsewhere. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the entire process. I have never felt so disrespected by a workshop in the Netherlands. I strongly do NOT recommend this shop."

"Nice dealership if you are willing to buy the car without looking, testing and discussing about it. Visited 3 days ago for a trade in, both sides made their offer and only dealership could test my car as “they haven’t enough time to take it out”. Serious business :). After discussing all details for couple days, I have called to make appointment and finish the “finished” deal to make payment and pick up the car. However, after three days sales man decided that he is not interested in the trade anymore and cancelled the appointment. But of course It doesn’t matter for them how much time or gasoline you have spent to get to this point. And as the guy confirmed on the phone, “yes this is how we do the business”. Haven’t seen this kind of professional fraud in a long time.."
