I didn't receive good service at Hedin Automotive Assen. They gave me information about the car that turned out to be inaccurate. This feels unfair and unreliable. I wouldn't recommend them.

I was treated very unfriendly... I asked for some service (finding a spare key from the previous owner, because a new one is €700, and no, I'm not asking for the previous owner's information). Apparently, that word is unknown, which is a shame and sad. If you don't understand the service aspect, you deserve less than one star.

Like Sandra Holman, I find it a shame that I have to give at least one star to leave a review. This is the first review I've ever written, but what a ridiculous company Hedin Automotive Assen is. I had agreed on a repair fee with the salesperson over the phone. When I picked up the car, the invoice suddenly turned out to be €400 higher than agreed—that's more than 20% extra. If I hadn't brought it up myself, I would have simply paid it without anyone saying a word. When I called about this, the caller in Assen initially didn't answer and I was transferred. Fortunately, I did get through to the right person, and the invoice was credited to the correct amount without much hassle. So, I ended up paying the agreed-upon fee, but only because I was careful about it myself. If you're not careful, you'll get ripped off here. I'll never use Hedin Automotive Assen again, and I advise others to be very careful as well.

I have to give them one star, but they don't actually deserve a single one. Last week, I took my Peugeot 3008 to these people for its MOT (periodic vehicle safety inspection). Last year, they also had a major service done here (about €1,000). Well, that's still possible, but now, with the MOT, they told me my CO emissions were too high and I really needed a new catalytic converter. I also needed four new tires. What did it cost? €2,550, ma'am. I wasn't happy about this, and the man even started saying I absolutely shouldn't be driving this car anymore, because the police could pull me over for pollution. I then made numerous calls and even spoke with someone from the RDW (Dutch Vehicle Authority). They said it would be very fast for such a new car, and people didn't believe it. So, I went to a different garage and had it measured here as well (I was standing next to them when it was measured), and the CO emissions were perfectly fine. Perhaps they thought they could scam a young woman, but unfortunately, they didn't. I'll never be back, and I'd like to warn others about HEDIN!
