"Bought a motorcycle at Van Hoof Motoren. We received excellent and friendly service from the salesperson. After receiving all the necessary information, we were given a test drive. A great company with friendly staff. Thanks!"

"I came here because of the positive reviews. But apparently, positive reviews don't mean anything. I had a red flashing light on the dashboard of my Nissan Note. I'd never seen that before. And the ignition switch was quite stiff. So I took it to them because I didn't know what it was. It took days before they actually did anything about it. "Well... If I were you, I wouldn't do anything about it, but there's a chance it's the ignition switch, and that's a lot of money. I think this can be postponed for a long time." Cost of the investigation... €239. Because I wasn't comfortable with it, I went to the Nissan dealer... He looked at me like he saw water burning... "That's the immobilizer, ma'am"... I just went off, haha. "But didn't they tell you that right away at that other garage?" "No, they spent hours investigating." "Well... Any decent garage should be able to tell right away that it's the immobilizer." "But I've never seen that light." Apparently, I'm sitting at the wheel, and when I take out the key and get out, the red light completely passes me by. I went back to Van Hoof. "Yes, but you said you'd never seen that red light, and that's strange, so we're going to investigate." I accepted this... But then you end up talking to various people about it. Car enthusiasts, car mechanics, other garages, etc. And one after another says: "That's the immobilizer, and the fact that he had to 'investigate' it is absolutely ridiculous. EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THAT LIGHT!!!... Doesn't matter... THEY have to know it's the immobilizer... Simplest thing in the world." And when I hear that SO often, I get really pissed off and feel like I've been ripped off for €239.00... This is truly awful. Well... I hope Van Hoof is happy with that €239.00... That's the last he'll get from me. Plus this review. At least I'll have something to show for a lot of lost money. THE IMMOBILIZER...... Sigh....."

"Always friendly, yes, but... Unfortunately, a little less enthusiastic. Bought a car and immediately had a major service and timing belt done for a fee. Within three months, the seatbelt broke and couldn't be replaced (they say it's a common problem for this car, but that's no use to me). Clutch problems, which were repaired once as a goodwill gesture (adjusting the cable) but caused problems again a month later. Unreachable by phone and no response to emails (he said it could be done through Hotmail when I stopped by). All in all, a lot of hassle and expense within six months. The exhaust also ripped off after a few months. And as it looks now, it won't pass the MOT with the seatbelt either. "I should start saving for something better." I had hoped to buy a nice little car with low mileage for my daughter. Now, after seven months, I'm sick to my stomach, knowing it won't last long or I'll have another big bill. Probably the clutch. I feel pretty ripped off. You could sell without a warranty, but that's no fun. From now on, I'll sell privately again. Bye bye money. In response to their reaction, the car hasn't been running for almost three weeks, so I don't know who's driving by then, but I certainly don't. Multiple contacts are also absolutely unacceptable. But even with a lower-budget car, you shouldn't expect it to be ready in six months. For me, €2000 is a month's salary. And even with the major service and timing belt, the multi-belt was forgotten, and luckily I noticed it myself so it was fixed the same day. But that's not accurate. The seat belt you said couldn't be replaced and could only be rewoven, which would cost around €200, I was later offered on the parts line for €50. But then again, there were shipping costs, and someone has to replace it. And so it's a money-making piggy bank."
