"I came in for a pre-vacation check. He changed the oil and filters and recommended replacing the brake pump. I didn't notice anything unusual with my brakes, and he couldn't explain exactly what was wrong, other than saying he "felt" it was necessary. Ultimately, I trusted his advice; after all, who wants to take a risk? After paying over €1,000, the brake pedal felt a bit hard. He told me this was normal due to the new pump and that it would soften up later. Long story short, I had a breakdown during my vacation. Brake fluid was leaking everywhere. The reason? Poorly installed brake pump, which ruined the entire system. Would he cover the repair? Of course not, because when I left the garage, there were no leaks."
