"The car was brought to Mini in working order, but returned broken with 10 malfunctions. I received incredible service from Jeroen at the workshop. I went to Mini Alkmaar for a recall on the EGR cooler, which I had waited two years for. After waiting so long, I contacted Mini Alkmaar again, and they told me they had forgotten about me. When the recall was completed, I immediately noticed my car was driving differently. I thought, "I'll just wait and see," and I went on vacation a few days later. When I got back, I still noticed it wasn't running at full power. I looked under the hood and briefly at the air filter. It had a K&N air filter with a sticker on the housing. I opened it and saw that a cheap filter had been installed that cost a few euros. Then I called Jeroen, and they said this was indeed correct because they'd replaced it (how can you miss that sticker when you're a mechanic?). Mini installed it, and I noticed it immediately. On the way back, my car started to hesitate when accelerating. I contacted Jeroen again and politely asked if I could have the report detailing everything that had been done. He got angry on the phone and thought it was ridiculous how I approached him. (I think it's a perfectly normal request; I bring my car to Mini in working order and it comes back broken.) He told me, "I'm going to send it to you, and then I never want to hear about this again." (It's ridiculous how you treat customers like that.) A little later, I received the documents by email, and I took my car to my own garage. They scanned it and called me to tell me I had to go back to Mini because there were 10 engine malfunctions. My garage said that wasn't the case before. The malfunctions in my engine were related to the EGR and sensors. That's exactly what the recall was about. Because I didn't have a pleasant experience on the phone, I went to the Mini counter. The same thing happened there as on the phone. Jeroen said they'd already done 100 recalls like this and that it was simply my car's fault. He asked how many kilometers I'd driven after the recall. I didn't know, so I said I thought it was 256,000. He said yes, that's 5,000 kilometers after the repair, so we can't do anything. Afterward, because I didn't know, I'd only driven a few hundred kilometers. Jeroen said you should have a diagnosis done at another garage. I'd already done that, so I told them, and they told me to go back to you (Mini). Jeroen said you should have a diagnosis done here for €200. (Why did you tell me to have a diagnosis done at another garage in the first place?) The only thing I can do now is pay another €200 to Mini for a diagnosis. I don't have a good feeling about Mini Alkmaar anymore, and I don't expect them to say, "It was our mistake and we're going to fix it" after that diagnosis. The way Jeroen spoke to me speaks volumes."

"I bought a BMW X7 from BMW Dusseldorp Alkmaar. Within three weeks of purchase, the car started leaking. Since then, the car has been back three times for the exact same problem (July 24th, August 25th, and November 24th). During the last visit, I was explicitly told that everything had been done, including replacing all the rubber seals. Despite this, the leak has returned, and is even worse than before. This simply means the problem isn't being resolved. For a car in this price range and from an authorized BMW dealer, this is completely unacceptable. Multiple visits, no permanent solution, and no clear accountability. This is not premium service or premium quality. My experience with BMW Dusseldorp Alkmaar is therefore very disappointing and definitely not what you would expect from this brand."
