To my surprise, my son's car is for sale there. It was severely damaged in two collisions. The insurance company declared it a total loss. It was bought for €1,650 from a salvage yard/parts garage and is now for sale here. The rear end suffered damage, with the impact shortening the car by a few centimeters. The trunk floor was crushed. The total repair cost would be €4,000. And that's not to mention the fact that the clutch and gearbox were worn out. The engine was at its end and leaking oil. The steering wheel pulled to the left, and the car vibrated while driving. The car was simply finished. All in all, it would have cost a fortune to get this car back on the road in any way. Much more than what it's currently being offered for. So that's simply not true. Restoring something isn't repairing it. The ad doesn't mention anywhere that it's a damaged car! The fact that it says it's MOT-approved until 2026 means absolutely nothing. The MOT was before the accidents and the problems.
