"Around noon, we called this dealership and were met with the (old) salesman, "who should have retired a long time ago," who was completely unfriendly and extremely curt. He told us we were interested in a car, but that we lived in Drenthe—it's a long distance to drive there on spec—and that we'd like clear photos and information about the car, and whether we could get an estimate of "approximately how much I'll have to pay." Emmen and Hilversum are quite a drive. No! That wasn't possible; we had to come by anyway. But we could always trade in! With the low price of the car this idiot was selling, we figured we'd have to settle for a price. Nothing could be further from the truth! When we arrived, the car we'd been told was so neat, and what the ad also described as neat, was a damaged car! Cracks in the window, scuff marks, scratches, and it looked like it had been used as a battering ram. It was a crying shame, but oh well, we thought...what's the difference between the two cars then? (I'll fix him up myself with a good idea) 3 years difference, same mileage... We were briefly told he didn't think much of our Renault!?? Strange, but we mentioned a generous amount to pay, and the old grump wished us a pleasant trip back to Drenthe and turned his back on us. He didn't even want to negotiate or talk further! It seemed like this old man didn't want to sell a car, and his son showed no interest in potential buyers either. Wow! (The old salesman also knew nothing about the car; no manuals, no information about the timing belt... We've never been treated so poorly (he wouldn't provide this information over the phone either). If we had read the Google reviews before, we would never have gone to this awful, rude, old car salesman and his son. Our car looks super neat and in good working order compared to what this garage has in stock. And we're so glad we didn't buy it!! Without wasting any of our gas! We were in there for 10 minutes. We advise against ever buying a car here. to buy it, just read the other reviews!!"
