Family business, they can take care of your car

(Scams ALERT!) Think carefully before you go here!! I know him from the Municipal Cleaning Service; he occasionally did odd jobs. Back then, he was still okay with his repairs. I'm bringing my car in and asking him about the steering box and MOT. What will that cost due to administration? Yes, between 250 and 350 euros, okay then. It took more than 6 weeks in total, and he never called to let me know. I called in between, asking when my car would be ready. Yes, no, I'm going to put it on the lift this afternoon. (Excuse about 6 weeks.) Finally, after 6 weeks, it was repaired, but the cost (brace yourself) was around 920 euros. (How can you incur so many costs without letting me know?) You knew I had to consult with the trustee first, without any choice, he made sure I had trouble with my trustee. Six to eight weeks later, the wheelhouse was empty again. You assume you have a warranty on something Arend repaired, but nothing more. The gentleman demanded another €50. I feel seriously ripped off!! It took MORE than six weeks without any notice!! All together, over €1000. So be careful! Less than six weeks later, I had to have four new tires put on by someone else because my tires were worn out. So, the gentleman throws you in the deep end with costs of over €1000 without notice, but he leaves my car tires as they are. Well done with your 5 stars, don't believe a word of it. Never again for me!!! Forewarned is forearmed!!

After a major service, one of the belts turned out to be slightly loose, which broke after four months. (My first car, so I had no idea it was wearing out so quickly.) This was resolved very efficiently, and the car was ready the same day! Excellent service.
