"Looking for a reliable car, it had to be a hybrid but without a plug. After driving a youngtimer for three years, the government decided to shut down an entire car industry. So, after a Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Infinity, Land Rover... Yes, I'm not really brand loyal, but I always choose something no one else would. After reading and looking at many reviews, I ended up with a Honda Civic. Everything you read about it is very positive. Even Autoweek called it their best and most enjoyable long-term test drive ever. Then I got curious and called Autobedrijf van Putten in Breda. A day later, after a 15-minute test drive, I knew enough. Our impression of this company was like stepping back in time. No fast guys in suits, just people who love the Honda brand. Even though Thomas is a young guy and we couldn't agree on a trade-in, we shook hands and said, "This isn't going to work." Thomas kept searching for a solution, and we were able to reach an agreement. On January 10, 2026, we were able to pick up the new Honda Civic. I should add that Thomas's colleague, Erik, made us an offer to purchase the Honda through Honda insurance and get a 10-year warranty or 200,000 km, whichever came first. But how does this luxurious and sporty Honda Civic drive? In my opinion, it's fantastic, the steering is nice and tight, and it's already incredibly fuel-efficient. 10 mpg is easily achievable. So, we were pleasantly surprised by the Honda Civic, and last week, Autoweek issue 8 arrived, and what a great comparison it made with the Honda Civic and the Audi A3. The result is that both test cars scored the same, with an equal score of 33. All in all, we wish Auto Bedrijf van Putten a successful sale. Rob Krowinkel"
