My visit to Rob Poot Autobedrijf was utterly astonishing. I went to look at a car and immediately noticed a clear dent that wasn't visible on Marktplaats. When I later asked the simple question if the damage could be repaired (possibly for an additional fee), the employee's demeanor changed overnight: aggressive, racist, rude, and completely unprofessional. As if that wasn't enough, he made comments I never expected to hear at a car dealership. He said he'd rather "give the car to someone of his own kind" than "my kind," and even added that people like me were the reason he votes for Geert Wilders; this man doesn't even know me (?). The level of customer service was so poor that you could even dance the limbo at night. I can't believe this company even gets any customers. Based on my experience: far below par and absolutely not recommended. I'd like to address the owner: judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one who's experienced this. Clearly state on Marktplaats and Facebook that "foreigners" and people of "my kind" are not welcome. Also, state that you vote for the PVV (Party for Freedom) and would prefer not to see them. It saves you and the customer time, and perhaps you a few extra years as well, because being treated this way is really not good for your heart.

Today I had a really strange experience with this rude, racist man. We went to look at a blue Toyota with license plate ZS-695-L, which he's offering on Marktplaats. In case you haven't noticed: the tailgate of this car is absolutely hideous and doesn't close properly due to damage from the past. The man seemed friendly at first, but he quickly started making comments about a "fraudulent foreigner." When we pointed out that the tailgate didn't close properly, he realized we didn't want the car and went on a rampage about foreigners, wanting us out of his ugly business as quickly as possible. He has absolutely no manners and should be ashamed of himself. And again, pathetic little man: we were born and raised here, and we're staying! Here's a bad review for you. Don't want any customer with a "foreign" background to come along.

Just about to view a car, I started making strange remarks on the phone. They arrived disrespectfully and threateningly if they didn't tell us to leave immediately. So I did. I'm not buying a car from a guy like that.

A very reliable and specialized garage. He's already serviced a C1, Fiesta, Focus, and Superb IV, and he knows everything about it. The price is also fantastic; I never have to ask beforehand because I know it's right. I found him through my father, and now my father-in-law is a customer too.
