I recently purchased a 2013 Renault Captur with just under 80,000 km on the odometer. The car is in excellent mechanical and mechanical condition, has a full service history, and has been driven very little for its age. The price was very attractive and definitely competitive. However, there are a few things to note. The car needed a minor service right away, which wasn't a problem since I have some experience with tinkering. The front tires were clearly due for replacement – the seller stated they would "last another 10,000 km," but the MOT inspection revealed this was a slight exaggeration; the tires were actually the only point of rejection. Furthermore, the MOT was only valid for three weeks at the time of purchase, which isn't ideal. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase: the car drives excellently, is technically in tip-top condition, and for the price I paid, it's a good deal. The worn tires and the short MOT validity are the only downsides. The total price I paid for the car: consisting of the purchase price + MOT/minor service + new tires was still lower than the sales price of a comparable copy at other dealers.

Looking for a new car, I ended up at Auto Plantinga in Leeuwarden. I'd already been in contact with owner and salesman Daniël, a trusted person. During our appointment in the showroom, we looked at several cars: my preference was for a Ford Ka. After a test drive and a pleasant conversation with Daniël, I purchased this car. While searching for a new car, I found Auto Plantinga on Marktplaats. My curiosity was piqued, and we decided to take a trip to Leeuwarden. In the showroom, I spotted a Citroën C1, and after a test drive and a pleasant conversation with both Daniël and his father, I decided to buy it. After a few days, the car turned out to have a defect, something Daniël couldn't have foreseen. It was great that the problem was immediately taken seriously, and I was able to continue my journey with a loaner car. Now it drives like a dream, and there were no extra costs for me. (I didn't purchase an additional warranty plan.) In short: I definitely recommend this company. They respond quickly via WhatsApp, and you can buy a car with complete confidence.
