A great little business with a salesperson who's truly passionate about cars. Someone who's eager to deliver a quality product without breaking the bank. They have a wide variety of cars. I bought a beautiful car here. The service was excellent. I even had a tow bar installed and new tires for a reasonable price. Auto Groningen handled all of this perfectly for me. I've been driving around in my car for a while now, with a big smile on my face. When I need a new car, I'll definitely be back at Auto Groningen.

We bought a 2005 Peugeot 307cc. The air conditioning wasn't cooling, so AutoGroningen had it topped up and the timing belt replaced (because it was frayed, which he said wasn't due to a faulty tensioner or anything like that). A day later, we discovered the car was stuttering on cold starts. So we took the car back, and he said he'd take a look, although I didn't think he was taking us very seriously. We were able to pick it up two days later. He said he'd replaced the ignition coil and spark plugs, and we could take it back for free because this was considered service (I think there's still such a thing as a consumer guarantee, especially after only owning the car for a day, but oh well... it was resolved anyway, so it's fine). A few days later, we took the car to our regular mechanic for a timing belt change (which we agreed to arrange ourselves), and he also inspected the car. He discovered, among other things, that the air hose from the air pump was torn and had tape wrapped around it. He also noticed a crack in the ignition coil, and sealant had been tampered with. He immediately said that this coil hadn't been replaced, but that sealant had been used to likely repair the crack! Our mechanic also found that the multi-ribbed belt tensioner was worn! After reporting this to AutoGroningen, he said he'd installed a second-hand ignition coil (yes, one with a crack, apparently), and that was it. He didn't offer any solutions, like "send me the bill" or anything like that. I never had a high opinion of car dealers, but now I certainly don't anymore. This is just another one of those.

When you buy a car, everything should work fine, but when I bought it, everything was wrong. I've had the car for less than seven months, and it already doesn't run. Well, sorry, but that's not why I buy a car. So don't buy a car from him. He provides service if you ask him, but not as it should be, otherwise my car wouldn't be broken down. It's not the cold weather. So don't judge if you don't know what's wrong...

A small-scale company with a very personal approach. I bought a beautiful car at a great price, which I've been driving with great pleasure for months now. I was able to arrange my winter tires right away. Absolutely fantastic!
